How to enter safemode in Windows 10

Method 1: Enabling F8
- Launch an elevated Command Prompt to start the process, right click on the Windows logo on the left nook of the taskbar to open Power Menu.
- Opt for the Command Prompt (Admin) on this menu.
- Choose Yes, if asked by User Account Control.
- Copy and paste the following command -
Bcdedit /set {bootmgr} displaybootmenu yes
- Restart Windows and press F8 function key during the booting of Windows.
- The textual boot menu will come on screen.
- Then to get the boot menu, press F8.
- Next, select Safe Mode or Safe Mode with Networking.
- Press Enter.
- When your work in Safe Mode is done, turn off the text based boot loader and get into the graphical one by providing the following command -
Bcdedit /set {bootmgr} displaybootmenu no

- Log on to the Windows 10 computer with any administrator account.
- Once on the desktop screen, press the Windows + R keys simultaneously on the keyboard.
- In the available field of the opened Run command box, type MSCONFIG and press Enter.
- From the System Configuration box, go to the Boot tab.
- Under the Boot options section, check the Safe boot checkbox.
- Click OK, and when prompted, click Restart to start Windows 10 in Safe Mode. Alternatively you can also click the Exit without restart button to continue working with the OS, and allow Windows 10 to boot in safe mode the next time the computer starts.
